McEvoy Electric was founded in 2003, by Jeff McEvoy. Jeff's extensive knowledge and impeccable attention to detail, truly set his company apart; he listens and takes the time to do the job right.

Jeff trained in both San Francisco and Marin County. Both areas are considered to have some of the highest inspection standards in the country. While in the Bay area, he apprenticed for two years with 'Artistic Lighting and Electrical'.

During his apprenticeship, Jeff was able to participate in a exciting new project. This once in a lifetime experience was the second largest residential construction in America at the time, a fifty-thousand square foot house made of rammed earth. Hundreds of miles of wiring were installed, utilizing all types of wiring methods and controls.

Recently, Jeff worked with the Sierra Business Council rebate program to complete an entire lighting replacement project that included both house and parking lot lights. All the exisiting lights were replaced with more efficient and longer lasting LED fixtures.
